Welcome, and Week 8 Selections

Over the past year, I have been working on developing a statistical model to help predict the outcomes of NFL games.  The model has undergone several iterations, but I find myself comfortable enough with the results I have seen on the current model, that I am prepared to begin posting my selections online for your viewing.  While I cannot prove this, through Week 7 of the 2014 NFL season, I have been selecting winners ATS with a 58% success rate.

The odds I will use in these postings will be the "consensus" odds posted on VegasInsider.com, at whatever time I make my selections.  Here we go!

Week 8

Denver -6.5 over San Diego

Detroit -3.5 over Atlanta

Minnesota +3 over Tampa Bay

New England -6.5 over Chicago

Kansas City -6 over St. Louis

Carolina +4 over Seattle

Buffalo +3 over NY Jets

Miami -5 over Jacksonville

Houston -2 over Tennessee

Baltimore +2.5 over Cincinnati

Philadelphia +2.5 over Arizona

Indianapolis -1.5 over Pittsburgh

Cleveland -7 over Oakland

Green Bay +1.5 over New Orleans

Dallas -9.5 over Washington
